Teacher Active are currently recruiting Supply Teachers to work across a range of Primary Schools in North Birmingham. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexible work, whether you’re looking for occasional days, consistent weekly bookings, or a better work-life balance.

The schools we work with are particularly looking for teachers who are confident working in Key Stage 2, including Year 5 and Year 6, and who can confidently step into the classroom to deliver pre-planned lessons.

The Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS2, including Year 5 and Year 6

Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines

Provide brief feedback to schools at the end of the day

‍ The Ideal Candidate :

We are looking for teachers who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Are confident teaching KS2, particularly Year 5 & Year 6

Are flexible and happy to work across multiple schools in North Birmingham

Are reliable, adaptable, and confident managing behaviour

Are comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons

Are happy to work through Teacher Active and be paid via PAYE

✅ Compliance & Eligibility Requirements:

A DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through Teacher Active

Ability to provide two professional references from previous educational employers

Eligibility to work in the UK
