A welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in the B14 area of Birmingham is seeking to appoint a committed and experienced Year 4 Class Teacher to cover a long-term maternity leave, starting on 27th April after the Easter holidays.

The Role
Full class teaching responsibility in Year 4
Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities included
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress
Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have successfully completed their ECT induction period (applications from ECTs will not be considered)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Be reliable, organised and a positive team player
