Following a period of significant strategic development and growth, we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Headteacher – Achievement.
This is a pivotal leadership role in a school with a clear improvement trajectory and growing student numbers. It offers the opportunity to shape whole‑school culture and deliver measurable impact.

The Assistant Headteacher for Achievement will play a central role in ensuring that this ambition translates into measurable impact across all year groups and pupil groups.
About the RoleWorking alongside the Deputy Headteacher you will lead the strategic development and operational implementation of achievement across the academy, ensuring:
- Strong and sustained academic outcomes at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- High expectations and challenge for all learners.
- Effective assessment systems that inform teaching and accelerate progress.
- Closing of gaps between pupil groups through high‑quality teaching and targeted support.
- Clear accountability structures that empower middle leaders.
- Raising standards strategies that are precise, coherent and impactful.
This role is about securing excellence, not through pressure, but through clarity, consistency and collective efficacy.
