Aspire People are looking for a caring, confident, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Reception and Year 1 within a dedicated SEN Hub in the B12 area. This is a rewarding full‑time role starting immediately, working with children who have a range of additional needs including ASD, communication difficulties, and social‑emotional needs.

• Supporting pupils with EHCPs in a small, nurturing SEN Hub
• Providing 1:1 and small‑group support across Reception and Year 1
• Assisting with communication, sensory regulation, and early learning development
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
• Using positive behaviour strategies to create a calm, safe learning environment
• Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills

• Experience working with children with SEN (ASD experience highly valued)
• A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
• Ability to adapt activities to meet individual needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting early years and KS1 learners

• A well‑resourced SEN Hub with supportive staff
• A warm, inclusive school community
