Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Bordesley Green. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing, both in and out of the classroom.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and supporting children or young people to reach their full potential.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and record pupil progress.

• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
• A caring, patient, and supportive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are an advantage.
