Start Date: September 2025
Salary: 90 - 105 per day
Contract: Temporary (Ongoing)
Hours: Full Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Birmingham
. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026, working within Key Stage 1 (KS1), supporting pupils both in class and through targeted interventions.
This role would suit a nurturing, proactive, and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young learners and contributing to a positive classroom environment.
Teaching Assistant RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum)
- Have excellent knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
- Have experience supporting pupils in Early Years and/or KS1
- Ideally have at least 12 months' experience working in a school setting
- Be confident supporting children with additional needs
- Be Safeguarding Level 1 trained
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)

You will work closely with the class teacher to:
- Support whole-class learning
- Deliver small group interventions
- Provide additional support to pupils who require extra assistance
