Early Years Teaching Assistant

Supply Heroes are currently recruiting on behalf of welcoming school's in Birmingham for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children and enjoys working in an Early Years setting, helping pupils develop key social, emotional and learning skills at the start of their educational journey.
This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
 
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years activities
 
* Assist with the learning and development of children within the EYFS framework
 
* Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
 
* Provide one-to-one or small group support where required
 
* Support children’s social, emotional and educational development

The Ideal Candidate
Supply Heroes are looking for someone who:
 
* Holds an EYFS qualification approved by the Department for Education (DfE)
 
* Has experience working within an Early Years setting
 
* Is patient, enthusiastic and caring
 
* Works well as part of a team
 
* Is committed to supporting children’s early development
