Are you looking for a stable, full-time role in a local primary school? We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long-term position starting ASAP in the Erdington area
.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule. Whether you are an Early Years specialist or prefer the academic challenge of Key Stage 2, we want to hear from you!

• Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Days: Monday - Friday (Term time only)
• Location: Erdington, Birmingham
• Duration: Long-term (with potential for permanency)
• Year Group: Flexibility for either Reception or Year 5

Option A:
Reception (EYFS) If you love messy play, have a solid grasp of Phonics
, and enjoy helping children hit those first major developmental milestones, this is your zone. You'll be the glue that keeps the classroom running through creative learning and social development.

Option B:
Year 5 (KS2) If you prefer supporting students with more complex subjects like Fractions or Guided Reading
, Year 5 offers a more conversational and academic environment. You'll play a key role in boosting confidence before they head into their final year.

• Previous experience working with children (School-based preferred).
• A patient, adaptable, and "can-do" attitude.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for your preferred age group.
