*** 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism If you want school experience that strengthens an application for a PGCE or a long-term SEND pathway, this SEN Graduate Academic Coach role gives you a full academic year in an excellent primary setting. You will support pupils with Autism through predictable routines, clear communication, and targeted academic interventions that help them access learning with confidence.
The Role

- You will support communication by simplifying language, checking understanding, and modelling expected responses.
- You will help pupils regulate and manage transitions by using calm, predictable strategies agreed with the teacher and SENCO.
- You will adapt tasks and resources so pupils can succeed without lowering expectations.
- You will record progress and key observations and share short, practical feedback with the class teacher and SENCO.
