Higher Level Teaching Assistant 36.5 Hours per week – Term Time Only – 1 year Fixed Term (Working Pattern - Monday - Friday)
Salary Range: £32,424 - £40,033 Actual Salary Inc. SEN Allowance of £1507 FTE
Start Date: 1st September 2026 End date: 31st August 2027
Victoria School is an all-through provision for pupils aged from 2 – 19 years, all of our pupils have special educational needs and a variety of learning difficulties, sensory impairments and complex medical needs.
We are looking to appoint a full-time Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and highly motivated staff team.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- The ability to work using own initiative, and as part of a team.
- Excellent communicate skills with students, parent/carers and colleagues.
- The ability to plan, deliver & assess engaging sessions for pupils following the bespoke Victoria curriculum.
- A GCSE grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths
- An appropriate NVQ level 3 (or higher-level qualification) or equivalent, and appropriate experience
- Must have HLTA Status
