Long Term Futures is actively seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children between the ages of 12 to 17 with SEND and/or SEMH needs. This role is ideal for a candidate that has a good background with supporting SEND, and who can build trusting relationships with teenagers.

• Provide support to pupils with a range of needs.
• Support pupils inside or outside of the classroom.
• Monitor progress and relay feedback to staff and parents.
• Build trusting relationships.
• Support with a range of teaching and learning—academic, play, sensory etc.
• Identify behaviours and help to regulate emotions.

• Experience and passion with SEND & SEMH.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Consistent, reliable approach that can maintain trust while enforcing boundaries.
