HLTA / Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant – Central Birmingham Full Time

Pay: £90 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Smile Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic HLTAs and Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to support SEN schools and specialist provisions across Central Birmingham.

This role is ideal for experienced SEN support staff who are passionate about inclusive education and making a positive impact on pupils with additional needs.

The Role
  • Provide classroom support for pupils with a range of SEN needs.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and 1:1 support sessions.
  • Support pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD and communication needs.
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom preparation.
  • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.

Requirements
  • HLTA qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Previous SEN support experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional, reliable and resilient attitude.
  • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
