English Teacher – KS3 & KS4

Looking for a passionate and inspiring English Teacher to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Birmingham City Centre. This engaging role requires a teacher who can help students across KS3 and KS4 raise attainment and develop a love of English Language and Literature.

• Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Support students in developing literacy, analytical and communication skills.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies where required.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement.
• Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Has strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature.
• Is committed to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for students.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
