Our central Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their successful team to start in Sept 2026 - Easter 2027. This thriving and supportive school are seeking a teacher with Year 1 experience to support their very able year 1 class for 12 months. This is an improving school who have a great senior leadership team and offer a fantastic working environment.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 pupils.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets.
• Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching in primary education, preferably within Year 1.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies.
