Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with a thriving 2-form entry primary school in Birmingham, seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team.
About the Role- Full teaching responsibilities for an engaged KS1 class of approximately 28 students
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Working collaboratively with the parallel KS1 teacher and wider staff team
- Providing effective marking and feedback to learners and their families
- Attending and completing parents and staff meetings
- Creating and maintaining a strong, positive parent partnership
- Ensuring a safe, engaging and positive learning environment for all learners
- Opportunity to contribute to school life, clubs and wider curriculum
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) experienced or due to qualify
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) warmly encouraged to apply – excellent induction support available
- Strong classroom management and a commitment to high standards
- A positive, nurturing approach to learning and development
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly KS1
