Role DescriptionThis part‑time, on‑site role of Garden Educator is based in Dorset, United Kingdom. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging, nature‑focused lessons for primary school children, aligning them with the national curriculum. The Garden Educator will facilitate outdoor gardening activities, lead educational workshops, and inspire children to connect with and care for nature. Additional tasks may involve training school staff on environmental education methods and contributing to curriculum development tailored to nature‑based learning.
Qualifications- Strong Teaching and Training capabilities with experience leading engaging, hands‑on workshops for children.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with children, school staff, and parents.
- Understanding of environmental education, sustainability practices, and gardening is desirable.
- Previous experience in outdoor education or working with children is a prerequisite.
