Level 2 Teaching Assistant- Grove School

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience of working with children
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Fluent spoken English (essential)

All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references.

The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including Enhanced DBS, prohibition check, childcare disqualification (where applicable), qualifications (where applicable), medical fitness, identity and right to work.

The post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am–4.30pm;
Wednesday 8.30am–5.00pm;
Friday 8.15am–3.30pm (36.5 hours per week)

Salary: Grade A (SCP 3-11) £24,796 - £28,142 Full time equivalent, £21,834- £25,354 Pro rata
