Salary/Benefits

Salary between £41,400 and £47,971 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. 35 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, Teacher’s Pension, retail and leisure discounts, and access to college courses.

Hours/Weeks

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Contract Type

Permanent – Full Time.

About the Role

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead the design and delivery of innovative programmes for NEET and at‑risk learners, support transitions into education, training or employment, and manage a multidisciplinary team across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and evaluate NEET engagement & transition strategies, including Reset programmes.
  • Lead and safeguard multidisciplinary teams, ensuring a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
  • Create flexible, inclusive curriculum pathways, monitor attendance and progress, and adapt strategies to maximise engagement and positive outcomes.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with external agencies, parents/carers and curriculum teams to support learner development and transition planning.
  • Implement quality assurance processes, contribute to self‑assessment, produce performance reports and uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and CPD standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree and Level 5/PGCE with GCSE English and Maths, plus experience teaching and leading provision for NEET and vulnerable learners.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver inclusive curricula, engage hard‑to‑reach learners and improve outcomes through effective teaching and data‑led intervention.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills, including staff mentoring and raising teaching and learning standards.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, building strong relationships with families, staff and external agencies.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and trauma‑informed practice, with high integrity, adaptability, and flexibility to travel across sites.
