Level 2 Teaching Assistant
32.5 Hours per week – Term Time Only – Permanent
(Working Pattern - Monday - Friday)
Salary Range: £20569 - £23186
(SEN allowance of £1,507 FTE included)
Victoria School is an all-through provision for pupils aged from 2 – 19 years all of whom have a disability. All of our pupils have special educational needs and a variety of learning difficulties, sensory impairments and complex medical needs. Federated with Cherry Oak School and Victoria College, Victoria School provides pupils with an outstanding education in a caring environment.
The role will involve supporting class teachers with the preparation of resources for lessons, supporting pupils during lessons, individually and in small groups and supporting the care needs and well‑being of pupils throughout the school day.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they can:
- Work using own initiative, and as part of a team
- Support the varied, complex needs of our pupils/students
- Communicate clearly and effectively with parents/carers, pupils and colleagues
- Take ownership of tasks
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the school.
