We are recruiting for an MFL Teacher to join a thriving secondary school near Harborne, recognised for its commitment to high academic standards, student achievement, and inclusive education. This is a full-time position, with planning and marking responsibilities, and applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The role is due to commence in September and will continue through to the end of the academic year. Job Role:- Full class teaching responsibilities for French and/or Spanish including planning and marking
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet National Curriculum objectives
- Support pupils’ progress across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Maintain excellent behaviour management within the classroom
- Work collaboratively with the Secondary School’s MFL department and wider team
- Track and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) with secondary teaching experience
- Experience teaching French and/or Spanish within a Secondary School setting
- Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum for MFL
- Proven track record of delivering strong classroom management
- Excellent subject knowledge and clear, confident communication
- £168 to £232 per day which equates to £32,760 to £45,240 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience

This MFL Teacher role is based in Bromsgrove and is easily accessible from Harborne and the surrounding areas, including Quinton, Edgbaston, Northfield and Halesowen. The secondary school is well served by public transport and offers on‑site parking.
