Health & Social Care Assessor

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Freelance Health and Social Care Tutor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by equipping adult learners with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the care sector.

Role Overview You will deliver engaging and informative training sessions (online and/or in person) to adult learners, supporting them throughout their learning journey. This includes teaching core subject content, guiding coursework and assessing progress to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in health and social care, such as Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate Provide high-quality teaching across key health and social care topics Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback and support Ensure delivery meets industry standards and awarding body requirements Support learners with queries and ongoing guidance Maintain accurate records, including registers and learner portfolios Requirements Proven experience in the health and social care sector Relevant qualification (Level 3 or above) Teaching or training qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS or equivalent) Assessing qualification (eg.

A1, CAVA or equivalent) Strong communication and learner engagement skills Confident using digital tools and virtual learning platforms Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
