Computer Science Teacher – Full-Time Maternity Cover

Flourish Education is recruiting a Computer Science Teacher for a full‑time maternity cover role starting in September. The position is based within a Secondary School in Bartley Green, Birmingham and offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive teaching environment. The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils throughout their learning journey.

• Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons within a Secondary School setting
• Plan and prepare lessons that support pupil progress and achievement
• Follow the National Curriculum and school policies
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback where appropriate
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

• Computer Science Teacher, Secondary Teacher, ICT Teacher, Supply Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience teaching Computer Science within a Secondary School
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to inspire and engage learners of varying abilities
