Role Overview

This is a two‑year fixed‑term Lecturer position in the Health Leadership programme at Aston Medical School. The role supports the delivery of a PG Certificate in Health Leadership and offers a career pathway for individuals with a background in clinical medicine or a relevant academic discipline.

As programme lead you will:

• Lead one of the Health Leadership modules, delivering taught and assessment activities.
• Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the Health Leadership programme.
• Contribute to curriculum development, teaching design and assessment for the programme.

Applicants should have:

• A background in clinical medicine or a related academic discipline.
• A passion for supporting undergraduate health and medical education.
• Enthusiasm for cross‑disciplinary collaboration with university and NHS colleagues.

You will receive support to pursue a PG Certificate, Diploma or Master’s in Higher Education from Aston University and will have opportunities for collaborative scholarship projects.

The role may meet the requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Flexible working options may be discussed with the recruiting manager.
