About our Primary Class Teacher KS1/KS2 vacancy
We are looking for an experienced teacher to join us for the next academic year. This opportunity would be ideal for an experienced teacher as we love growing and supporting ECTs but appreciate that we need experienced staff to support by acting as mentors/coaches. It is a full‑time FTC for 1 year with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
We have a great support network both in our Academy and as part of Oasis that really offers unrivalled access to subject and education specialists.
We can’t accommodate any further ECT’s at this point of time. We’re really committed to ECT’s but have to make sure we have enough mentors.
At Hobmoor planning is carefully structured and supported through shared curriculum frameworks, high‑quality resources, and regular collaboration within the phase. This ensures our teachers are well supported and able to focus on delivering impactful teaching while continuing to refine their practice. We have a strong emphasis on adaptive teaching, to support all our learners.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Primary Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high‑quality KS1/KS2 teaching within a supportive, collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with shared curriculum frameworks and work with subject specialists and lead practitioners.
- Act as a mentor and coach for Early Career Teachers where appropriate.
- Participate in regular curriculum collaboration and contribute to the improvement of teaching practice.
- Support students with adaptive teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Salary up to and inclusive of UPS 3.
- Continued professional development and training.
- Wider Oasis Community Learning benefits portal including health & dental cover and discounts at leading companies.
- An opportunity to really make a difference to our students and families’ lives.
The overall vision for every part of Oasis is for community. A place where everyone is included, making a contribution and reaching their God‑given potential. Delivering first‑class, innovative education is part of the work we do as we seek to grow an Oasis Hub in every area where we work; creating safe and inspiring local neighbourhoods that provide integrated and diverse services to benefit the whole person and whole community.
