We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and committed Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school from September.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach a small Year 1 class of just 13 pupils
, allowing you to build strong relationships with children and deliver highly personalised learning experiences. Due to the small class size, there will be limited teaching assistant support, so we are looking for a confident practitioner who can independently plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons across the curriculum.
- Have proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and excellent teaching practice.
- Be confident delivering phonics, early reading, writing, and maths.
- Have a good understanding of assessment and pupil progress.
- Be committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Work effectively as part of a supportive school team.
