Level 2/3 Teaching Assistants Required

This is a one‑year contract in the first instance beginning September 2026 (or as close to that date as possible). Applicants will be considered for both vacancies.

We have 2x vacancies for 20 hrs and 25 hrs per week (term time only) and the successful candidates will be expected to take on a lunchtime supervisor role for an additional 3.5 hours per week to maintain consistent support for named SEND pupils.

We are looking for a candidate who will:

  • Preferably be a practising Catholic
  • Be an excellent teaching assistant, who can motivate and inspire children at all levels
  • Teach and support groups of children or individuals following the direction of the class teacher and help to secure good progress from all learners
  • Have high expectations of themselves and others and be committed to raising standards in teaching and learning, and behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Show initiative and be willing to develop themselves professionally
  • Be flexible and willing to work in different age ranges
  • Be willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with SEND pupils that have complex needs
  • Be willing to undertake aspects of intimate care with children who have toileting issues
