About the Role This role is term time only, working 40 weeks per year. The salary listed will be pro rata'd to reflect the weeks worked. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Tutor to support learners aged 14-16 who attend college as part of their education package. This will include young people still on roll with school but attend for part of the week to study at college and Electively Home Educated students who access the college as part of their educational package.
As a Personal Tutor, you will play a key role in helping these learners successfully transition into a college environment. Many will be experiencing greater independence for the first time and may require additional guidance to develop confidence, resilience and the behaviours expected in further education and the workplace. A key aspect will involve attendance monitoring, supporting transition and reviewing progress.
What we can offer you As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £33,160 - £37,283 (this will be pro-rata'd to reflect the term-time weeks worked) per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
