Primary SEMH Teacher – Birmingham City Centre
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: Paid in line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)

Are you a passionate Qualified Teacher (QTS) looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs?
We are recruiting for a rewarding opportunity within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Birmingham City Centre
. The school is seeking a resilient, confident and adaptable teacher who can build positive relationships and create an engaging learning environment for pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support.
The school offers flexibility with year groups, allowing the successful candidate to teach where their strengths and experience are best suited.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
ECTs will not be considered for this position.
Previous experience teaching within an SEMH setting or significant experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a school environment.
Confidence in managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour management strategies.
The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
A patient, resilient and proactive approach to teaching.
A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
A supportive and experienced leadership team.
