Axcis Education are looking for a committed teaching assistant to work in a local primary school near Erdington. The role is starting immediately, with the view of continuing into the next academic year from September.
RoleFull‑time Teaching Assistant position, working everyday Monday to Friday. The role will involve supporting children with varying complex needs.
Salary: £14.25 per hour. Availability required from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Supporting children between the ages of 4 to 11
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and autism
- Providing students with personalised and tailored support for all individual needs
- Building meaningful, positive relationships with all students
- Bringing a calming influence to the classroom
- Previous experience supporting young people with SEMH
- A caring and patient nature, with the ability to foster positive and meaningful relationships with all pupils
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
- Availability to work 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
