Overview

Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, ensuring content is accessible and relevant to diverse audiences while incorporating the latest sector insights and labour market trends.

Stay informed on evolving recruitment practices and future workforce trends, ensuring training reflects the technical and soft skills employers value.

Develop and embed future‑ready employability skills—including adaptability, problem‑solving, collaboration, and digital literacy—into a future focused training programme.

Incorporate insights from emerging UK sector developments—including sustainability, digital innovation, and labour market changes—into all learning content.

Collaborate with the Training & Curriculum Manager to monitor and enhance programme effectiveness, using feedback to keep training dynamic, innovative, and aligned with evolving recruitment practices and career pathways.

Deliver and facilitate existing training in an engaging and interactive manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a national team to ensure the project successfully engages young people with barriers to engagement.
  • Report to the Service Manager and work closely with the rest of the programme team, Communications, and the wider employability division.
  • Collaborate with programme delivery partners and all other external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experienced facilitator who is proactive, compassionate, and driven to support the goal of improving social mobility through training individuals who need extra support to access the world of work.
  • Knowledge and experience of the issues faced by vulnerable people.
  • Proactive, organised and resilient to deal with the varying demands of the role.
  • Passion to support people in achieving their goals and experience of successfully delivering engaging training programmes for young people.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with young people and partners, strong interpersonal skills, approachable, adaptable, and supportive to the range of stakeholders involved in this programme.
  • Ability to positively challenge mind‑sets.
  • Interest in sustainability, technology, and CPD.
