Job Overview
Learning Disability School Support Staff – working to support children with a wide range of additional needs and disabilities, including MLD, PMLD, Cognition and Learning needs, and Autism (ASC). Your days will be diverse and busy, supporting pupils with hearing and visual impairments, communication needs, medical and physical needs, and speech and communication requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide support to pupils with hearing and visual impairments, communication needs, medical and physical needs, and speech and communication requirements.
- Assist in daily classroom activities and ensure pupils receive appropriate personal care and medical support.
- Experience working with people with disabilities, learning difficulties, and medical/care needs.
- Familiarity with personal care, medical support, and physical disabilities.
- Friendly, confident, and approachable, with the ability to get stuck in.
- Generous rates of pay.
- A dedicated SEN Consultant.
- Access to a large number of schools exclusive to Academics.
