Year 2 1:1 Learning Support Assistant - Primary School (B31 Area)

September 2024 (or ASAP). Aspire People is seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil in a friendly and inclusive primary school in the B31 area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.

• Provide personalised support to a Year 2 pupil with specific learning or behavioural needs
• Assist with classroom activities, emotional regulation and daily routines
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
• Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment
• Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable, and a relevant qualification is essential
