Overview
Graduate Teaching Assistant position in Oldbury (B68). Full-Time, Monday to Friday. Start date September 2026 for the 26/27 academic year. Salary £500-£530 per week.
Responsibilities- Provide classroom assistance as a graduate teaching assistant in a primary school.
- Support learning and help pupils engage and participate in activities.
- Assist with differentiation to meet diverse and individual learner needs.
- Support learners, including pupils with SEND, where applicable.
- Contribute to a positive classroom environment and support teacher planning and delivery as needed.
- Hold or predict a degree with a 2:2 or above.
- Be flexible and approachable.
- Prior experience supporting SEND pupils is favourable.
- Have the drive to prepare young people to be active, responsible learners.
- Demonstrate the ability to engage children and increase participation through appropriate differentiation.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
- Full-time role – Monday to Friday.
- Term-time salary of £500–£530 per week.
- September start aligned to the 26/27 academic year.
