Role SummaryAssociate Lecturer in Professional Cookery (FE) – deliver practical sessions across kitchen, pastry and larder skills, motivate learners through hands‑on demonstration, and model professional standards. Provide outstanding pastoral support to diverse and ambitious student cohorts, helping them build confidence, resilience, and professional identity.
Responsibilities- Deliver practical sessions in kitchen, pastry, and larder skills.
- Incorporate current industry practice into teaching.
- Motivate learners through hands‑on demonstration.
- Model the standards expected in professional environments.
- Provide outstanding pastoral support to student cohorts.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the College of Food.
- Significant, broad experience across culinary sectors.
- Exceptional practical skills and a passion for sharing real‑world expertise.
- Ability to bring current industry practice into the kitchen.
- Previous teaching experience is welcome but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
