Overview

Prospero Teaching is recruiting Psychology Graduates to work as Behaviour Mentors in secondary schools and alternative provisions across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), SEND and behavioural challenges before progressing into teaching, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology or other education-based careers.

• Work closely with school staff to build positive relationships, promote engagement in learning and help students overcome barriers to education through one-to-one and small group support.

• Holds a Psychology degree (or a related degree)
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is patient, resilient and proactive
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
• Has the right to work in the UK
