Teacher Active is proud to be working with a dedicated school in Birmingham who are looking to appoint an Internal Inclusions Manager to support students in developing positive behaviour, strong learning habits and essential character skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive environment that promotes high expectations, inclusion and respect, while helping students reach their full potential.

The school is looking to take on an Internal Exclusions Manager on a long‑term basis from September, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful Internal Exclusions Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the Internal Inclusion provision, supporting students with behavioural, emotional and learning needs. You will deliver personalised interventions, support reintegration following exclusions, maintain accurate behaviour records and work closely with staff, parents/carers and the wider pastoral team to ensure students receive consistent support.

Qualifications
  • Experience supporting young people within an educational, pastoral or behaviour‑focused setting
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour and delivering targeted interventions
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, inclusion and student support strategies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families
  • A calm, resilient and consistent approach to supporting young people
  • The ability to promote high expectations, accountability and positive behaviour choices
