Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating The Hive College, Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. The Hive College is based in Erdington, Birmingham and is a Specialist Further Education College for learners aged 19‑25 years with Special Educational Needs and disabilities. As part of our on-going development of a highly successful specialist college, we have a Teaching Assistant vacancy to join our team of professional and dedicated people.

• An NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• A good level of English and Maths.
• A good understanding of how students learn and develop in education.
• The ability to support teachers in meeting the needs of all students, including mentoring, pastoral care and assisting with the physical care of students as and when required.
• The ability to work with individuals and small groups of students.
• Excellent communication and written skills with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
• The ability to support students in the classroom and whilst out in the community.
