Birmingham Newman University enjoys a strong and established reputation in Theology, Chaplaincy, Philosophy, Religion and Ethics. We are seeking a lecturer in Philosophy, Religion and Ethics to teach on the main undergraduate programme and to take on the role of Academic Personal Tutor to the undergraduate students. The candidate will work closely with the programme leader and with academics in the wider Humanities.
The post holder will plan and deliver a range of learning activities utilising a range of teaching methods, prepare and mark assessments, improve teaching by self-reflection and student feedback, and engage with wider university business. They will lead Philosophy, Religion and Ethics modules, and play an active role in the wider School including in recruitment activities.
