The Role

University College Birmingham is entering one of the most ambitious and dynamic phases of our growth, making this an exciting time to join the UCB Business School. We are looking for a talented, industry‑experienced Lecturer in Hospitality and Events who is passionate about teaching and student success.

There is a rapidly growing student community and expanding curriculum in the UK and Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging hospitality and events content across Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
  • Utilise hands‑on experience in digital tools and AI application areas in the curriculum.
  • Support students in research and project supervision.
  • Contribute to programmes validated in May
    2025 and support the new validated programme starting in Malaysia September
    2026.
Qualifications

Not specified in mandatory terms, but an experienced lecturer with knowledge in hospitality and events and understanding of mandatory safeguarding principles.
