£150 - £180 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

This welcoming specialist school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Careers Lead to develop and deliver an inspiring careers programme for autistic students aged 11-19. Working closely with pupils, families, employers and education providers, you will support students to make informed choices about their future. The school has around 180 pupils, is a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting School, and is committed to preparing every learner for adulthood through a personalised and inclusive approach.
RequirementsThe desired Careers Lead will have;
- Experience delivering careers education, guidance or employability programmes
- Knowledge of the Gatsby Benchmarks and careers guidance for young people with SEND
- Excellent communication and partnership-building skills
- A passion for supporting young people to achieve positive post-16 and post-19 outcomes
