We opened in Perry Barr in 2015 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We are extremely proud to be one of the highest performing schools in the country, with the 4th best Progress 8 score nationally for our 2024 GCSE results.

We were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted during our first inspection in May 2018. At our last inspection in December 2024, the school was commended for upholding the same high standards of academic excellence, teaching, character development and behaviour that resulted in the school’s previous ‘Outstanding’ rating.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.

• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Experience of working with young people and families in a Secondary School setting.
• Experience of providing counselling/pastoral support or careers guidance within a Secondary School setting.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• The ability to work effectively and sensitively with a range of groups and individuals.
