We are seeking to recruit a pool of Visiting Lecturers who can contribute to our Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes across our academic Schools.

The School of Architecture, Built Environment, Computing and Engineering brings together applied disciplines across Architecture, the Built Environment, Computer Science and Engineering, working closely with industry to ensure our teaching reflects real-world practice.

Within the Department of Computer Science
, we deliver practice led courses in areas such as:

• Cyber Security
• Software Engineering
• Games Development
• Cloud Computing
• Data Science

Students learn in industry standard environments, including specialist labs in Millennium Point and the £70 million STEAMhouse facility, both designed to support technical innovation and collaborative problem solving. Our strong partnerships with organisations such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Juniper and TIGA help ensure our curriculum remains aligned with current technologies and professional expectations.

We welcome Visiting Lecturers who can bring technical subject expertise, experience with industry standard tools and applied computing or engineering practice to help prepare graduates for the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

By applying to this vacancy, you will be joining our Visiting Lecturer recruitment pool. Visiting Lecturer roles are part-time, fixed-term positions, with hours agreed between you and the academic schools as required. Posts are paid hourly, with rates varying according to the nature of the work.
