As Head of School, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our vision, nurturing a culture of excellence, and ensuring that Stimpson Academy continues to be a place where children thrive, staff flourish, and the community takes pride in the school.

Our Trust was incorporated in July 2012 to establish, maintain, manage, and develop academies and free schools as world-class centres of excellence. We are a collaborative partnership that currently includes an all-through school in Northampton, a secondary school in Oundle, and five primary schools across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.

Stimpson Avenue is a friendly, diverse school right in the heart of Northampton, offering excellent learning and enrichment opportunities for pupils aged 4 to 11.

We currently have over 400 children on roll. The children engage exceptionally well in lessons and are proud of their school and achievements. Our staff team is committed to their welfare and growth and provides a friendly welcome to new colleagues. The successful candidate will be committed to our values and encourage our hard-working, polite children to achieve and behave at the highest levels, preparing them for transition into secondary school and beyond.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead Stimpson Academy into its next phase of development, driving forward the vision and nurturing a culture of excellence.
• Ensure children thrive, staff flourish, and the community takes pride in the school.
• Support colleagues in raising concerns without fear of blame, and proactively raise concerns when appropriate.

We are looking for a leader who demonstrates outstanding leadership, a clear commitment to safeguarding, and a proven track record in driving school improvement in an inclusive and innovative environment.
