An excellent SEND school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND while taking a leading role in developing work experience opportunities and careers education.

This is a varied and rewarding position that combines classroom support with helping young people build confidence, develop employability skills and access meaningful work placements.The RoleWorking alongside teachers and the wider school team, you will provide support to pupils in class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping them to achieve their academic, social and personal goals.

Alongside your classroom responsibilities, you will play an important role in supporting the school's careers programme by:

• Building relationships with local employers and businesses
• Supporting students in finding suitable work experience placements
