Are you a confident, enthusiastic, and adaptable primary teacher looking for a flexible role within a supportive school environment? We are seeking a Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established primary school in Birmingham (B8), delivering high-quality teaching across upper KS2 in small group settings.

As a Year 6 Intervention Teacher
, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering
well-planned, engaging lessons
across
Year 6 - Highlight topics that need intervention for individual students
- Working on a small group or 1:1 basis
- Maintaining strong classroom routines and positive behaviour
- Supporting pupil progress during class teacher release time
- Working collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
- Upholding the school’s values of
respect, ambition, and inclusion - Ensuring continuity and consistency in teaching and learning
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification - Have experience teaching within
Key Stage 2 - Be flexible, organised, and confident teaching across multiple year groups
- Demonstrate strong
behaviour management and communication skills - Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching that engages and inspires
