We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in the B6 area of Birmingham.

About the role:
Full-time SEND Teacher position
Starting from the new academic year
Teaching and supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Working closely with support staff, parents, carers, and external agencies
Contributing to EHCP reviews, target setting, and pupil progress monitoring
Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development
Opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives and outcomes of children with additional needs
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced SEND Teacher who has a genuine commitment to inclusive education and achieving the very best outcomes for every pupil.
You will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching pupils with SEND
Have a strong understanding of a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Be confident in adapting learning to meet individual pupil requirements
Have experience of working with EHCPs and personalised learning plans
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Work effectively alongside teaching assistants, SEND professionals, and senior leaders
Be skilled in assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
Have excellent communication and organisational skills
Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and personal development
Be committed to promoting inclusion, independence, and wellbeing
