Academics, an education agency, is seeking a qualified applicant to work as a supply teacher for several of our esteemed Birmingham schools. For the right candidate, this teaching position, which begins in September 2026, is daily work with potential to become long-term. For individuals who are looking for a more flexible career as of right now but would be open to a more long-term role in the future, this position is ideal for you.
Keyresponsibilities of a KS2 Teacher include:
- Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
- Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
- Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
- Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
- To monitor and assess pupils development
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A great and relevant understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
- Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client’s pay policy.
Salary: £160 – £190/day
