The roleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Liaison Librarian to work with the Cambridge West Team, to support library services across designated departments with responsibilities for teaching, research support and collection development, contributing to the needs of a diverse academic community within an innovative and forward-looking setting.
As Liaison Librarian (CST/CEB) you will- Deliver library services across the West Cambridge Site.
- Lead on Academic liaison with the designated Departments.
- Lead on training sessions in these areas and support colleagues more generally across West Cambridge.
- Support the West Hub Library Manager to shape library services across Cambridge West based on department's needs.
- A professional enthusiastic about building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience of developing and delivering training.
- Enthusiastic about promoting library services through outreach, guidance and personalised support.
- Proactive and innovative in finding solutions.
- Flexible to work at and visit multiple buildings.
- Flexible working arrangements are available upon discussion. Hybrid working and flexible hours are limited due operational needs. Please do get in contact to discuss if needed.
