The Role
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging, structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, tailored to your preferences and experience. Whether you are looking for a few days a week, full-time cover, or a better work-life balance, this role offers complete control over your schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering pre-planned lessons and adapting smoothly to short-notice requirements
Maintaining strong classroom management and fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Assessing pupil progress and ensuring continuity of learning
Building quick rapport with pupils, staff, and leadership teams
Following school policies while upholding high standards of teaching professionalism
What You Need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
The ability to manage behaviour effectively
A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
A flexible and adaptable approach to different school environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
* Teaching experience within UK primary education (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
* Ability to quickly build rapport with new classes and teams
* Strong organisational skills and reliability
