As a Primary School Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering well-planned, engaging and purposeful lessons across Early Years to Year 6
  • Maintaining strong classroom routines and promoting positive behaviour and engagement
  • Supporting pupil progress during classes and release time
  • Working collaboratively with other class teachers, teaching assistants and wider school staff
  • Upholding the school’s values of respect, ambition and inclusion
  • Ensuring continuity, consistency and high standards in teaching and learning
  • Adapting lessons to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning needs
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
To be successful in this role you must:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching across Primary Schools
  • Be flexible, well-organised and confident teaching across a range of year groups
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management, behaviour management and communication skills
  • Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of individual learners and different abilities
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging and inspiring lessons
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential
